Sales were up by 6% in April 2019 compared to last year.

The Greater Moncton REALTORS® du Grand Moncton MLS® system keeps track of all the sales reported through the years as well as maintain a data base known as the Home Price Index to help analyse and understand the local market.

A total of 314 real properties were sold during the month of April in the south-east region of N.B. This represents a 6% increase compared to the same period last year. So far, a total of 979 properties have been reported sold at the MLS Board, a 7% increase in the number of sold properties, but more significantly a 12% increase in total property dollar value.

The area continues to see a reduction of active properties for sale, there were 2,753 properties for sale at the end of April this year. A total of 590 new listings were recorded at the MLS® Board in April which represent a slight reduction of 2%. Year to date, the number of new active listings is down by 6% for the same period.

The list to sale ratio for the month of April was at 51% and 58% year to date, which constitute a balanced market.

 

Un total de 314 propriétés ont été vendus au cours du mois de avril dans la région sud-est de N.B. Cela représente une augmentation de 6% par rapport à la même période l’an dernier. Jusqu’à présent, 979 propriétés ont été rapportées vendues au système MLS®, ce qui représente une augmentation de 7% du nombre de propriétés vendues, mais plus significative encore une augmentation de 12% de la valeur totale de ces biens immobiliers.

La région continue de voir une réduction du nombre de propriétés actives en vente, il y avait 2,753 propriétés à vendre à la fin du mois d’avril cette année. Au total, 590 nouvelles inscriptions ont été enregistrées au système MLS® en avril, ce qui représente une légère baisse de 2%. Depuis le début de l’année, le nombre de nouvelles inscriptions actives a diminué de 6% pour la même période.

Le rapport nouvelles inscriptions / ventes pour le mois de mars était de 51% et de 58% depuis le début de l’année, ce qui représente un marché équilibré pour notre région.
